Summary: The Server Assistant will provide exceptional member service in a prompt, courteous and knowledgeable fashion to ensure a pleasurable and rewarding dining experience while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. Primary Responsibilities: • Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club. • Promotes an attitude of teamwork to include assisting other team members both on the floor and with side work. • Fulfills both opening and closing side work on each shift. • Ensures that tables, chairs, and setups within the restaurant are done neatly. • Inspects the dining room for cleanliness and order; rectifies any problems or issues promptly. • Learns and becomes proficient with Jonas POS system. • Learns and maintains knowledge of all menu items, all aspects of dining room service, as well as current and upcoming club events. • Assists servers with running plates to tables. • Cleans and resets tables; practices consistent removal of used plates and/or glassware. • Ensure all members requests are anticipated and fulfilled. • Assists in other departments/club functions to help the club as needed. • Inventory all condiments in the cooler and retrieve more from dry goods if needed. • Promptly replenishes beverages. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Must possess excellent customer service. • Be flexible and have a pleasant personality. • Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with members, employees and vendors.
