Summary: The Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment at the Aquatics Center. Primary Responsibilities: • Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club. • Meet and greet Members in a warm and friendly manner. • Guarding a variety of pools: Main Pool, Slide Pool and Splash Pad. • Promote services that the Aquatics Center offers. • Enforce Safety and Facility protocol for Members and Guests. • Maintain cleanliness throughout the Aquatic Center including Restrooms and Pool Deck. • Maintain pool cleanliness by using chemicals to test the pool water. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Computer literate, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. • Must have good verbal and written communication skills. • Must possess excellent customer service. • Be flexible and have a pleasant personality. • Be able to provide excellent customer service to members and guests. • Must be able to communicate information as needed to external departments & coworkers. • Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with members, employees and vendors. • Must have a flexible schedule and work on holidays. • American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified.
