ATLANTA ATHLETIC CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS – AMENDED JUNE 2025

Rules – RACQUETS 1. All members and their eligible dependents may use the courts during such hours as determined by the Board of Directors and such hours shall be duly posted. 2. All eligible persons are allowed to bring guests and will be billed the appropriate guest fees. There must be at least one eligible person playing on each court at all times. 3. It is mandatory that members check in and guests register in the Pro Shop before going on the courts. Guest fees are determined by the Board of Directors. 4. Reservations may be made at the Racquets Pro Shop as follows: a. Normal court bookings are limited to 48 hours in advance. Indoor court time cost is available through an annual Court plan (with advertised adjustments to reservations) or by daily reservation. Details on both may be obtained from the Pro Shop. b. ALTA and USTA team matches, special events, team lessons, and other lessons are pre booked by the tennis department at the beginning of the season. c. Special Events: Unless otherwise specified, all special events have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellation within 48 hours will result in event fee charge to member number. d. Schedules for T2 league and K Swiss matches must be provided, if you cannot provide a copy of your schedule to the Tennis team members when the season starts, you may still reserve a court but you are subject to normal court booking guidelines of no more than 48 hours in advance with a normal guest fee. e. Team practices are limited to 72 hours and two courts. Team captains may make arrangements with the tennis team members to seasonally pre-book outdoor courts (two maximum) for team practices. f. Team lessons: Team captains may make arrangements with tennis team members to seasonally pre-book indoor courts for team lessons. These lessons may be pre-booked several weeks before the ALTA season and continue through the season. All adult ALTA teams (men, women and businesswomen) are eligible to book indoor lessons and the team captains are responsible for the teams showing up, or they will forfeit that privilege. g. Fifteen (15) minutes shall elapse before a reservation is forfeited on any court. The Club reserves the right to reissue the court to a waiting member once the reservation is forfeited. h. Children ages 14-24 may make reservations on all courts during the week; they may not make reservations for the clay courts on the weekends and holidays. If a clay court is available, they may play but it must be relinquished upon request.
