ATLANTA ATHLETIC CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS – AMENDED SEPTEMBER 2023

17. Full Court Basketball is only permitted during scheduled times, as indicated on the court schedule. Any additional full court basketball play must be approved by the Fitness Director or Associate Fitness Director a minimum of 24 hours in advance. During times scheduled as “open gym,” full court basketball is not permitted. During times of inclement weather, priority is given to Timbers to utilize half court.

WHIRLPOOL AND STEAM ROOM

18. The whirlpool and steam room are for hydrotherapy use only. Taking a shower before entering is required. The whirlpool and steam room are not recommended for those with any medical condition adversely affected by using these facilities. Obtain your doctor ’s consent first. Do not use the whirlpool and steam room while under the influence of alcohol, tranquilizers or other drugs that cause drowsiness or raise blood pressure.

19. The whirlpool area and steam room are to be kept free of beverages and food of any kind.

THE AQUATIC CENTER

20. Upon entering the Aquatic Center, all members, families and guests using the pool area must register at the desk.

21. Member’s children over the age of 2 5 will not be allowed to use the Aquatic Center unless registered as guests by the parent or members accompanying them. Guest fees will be applicable.

22. Members may invite guests to use the Aquatic Center, for which there will be a guest charge. A guest fee paid at the Athletic Center does not apply for the Aquatic Center. Members may only bring a maximum of ten (10) guests to the pool per day. Parties larger than 10 must contact Banquets to arrange for a planned event.

23. The Aquatic Center will be open at such hours as determined by the Board of Directors and these hours shall be duly posted.

24. Swimming attire is not permitted outside the Aquatic Center complex. Pool attire must be appropriate for a family-friendly venue. Thongs, Brazilian and string bikini bathing suits and bottoms, Speedo-type trunks and any other overly-revealing swimwear is not permitted. In-charge aquatic staff personnel will be responsible for enforcement of this rule based on their discretion. The member or their guest found in inappropriate swim attire will be asked to leave. Shoes or foot coverings must be worn outside of the Aquatic Center complex.

25. Club towels must be signed for and returned each day. If towels are not returned, a replacement charge will apply.

26. Members’ grandchildren age 13 years and under will be permitted to use the Aquatic Center at no charge if accompanied by the member.

A. Guest fees will apply to members bringing grandchildren age 14 and over.

B. Members may obtain a grandchild pass which will allow grandchildren age 14 and over to use the Athletic Center and Aquatic Center for the entire summer and daily guest fees will not apply.
