ATLANTA ATHLETIC CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS – AMENDED SEPTEMBER 2023

c. Fees for Gym/Field rentals are $60/hour, as well as guest fees ($10) for each no-member. The sponsoring member must present a list to Fitness Center management of all non-members prior to approval. The minimum number of people (member and non-member) required for a rental is 5, maximum is 20.

d. All cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to event date. 1. Subject to a 45% fee of total rental for late cancellation notice. 2. Subject to a 75% fee of total rental for the day-of-cancellation.

d. Who may rent out the gym/field: 1. Members

2. Teams with member sponsorship upon approval – member must take total and all liability of guests on club property. Sponsor members must have all participants of the team sign release forms releasing the club of any and all liability of the guests. Teams may not rent the gym/field on a regular schedule or entire season unless approved upon by Athletic Committee and/or Board.

7. There is a NO TOBACCO policy in effect in the Athletic Center. This policy includes cigarettes, e cigarettes, cigars, pipes and all smokeless tobacco products.

8. No cleats of any kind can be worn in the Athletic Center, with the exception that golf “soft spikes” may be worn in the lobby area and the locker rooms.

9. Spouses and children may use courts that are not reserved with the understanding that a member will receive priority.

10. Court reservations will be held only for 10 minutes. The gymnasium clock will be the official timepiece. Members may ask to be placed on a court waiting list. If a court is not taken by the 10-minute grace period, the court may be released to the first person on the waiting list.

11. During member reservation time, only one member is required on the court during the reserved time.

12. The wearing of protective lens glasses is required during any and all squash play, racquetball play and during any Club sanctioned racquetball or squash tournament.

13. Children under the age of 15 are not allowed in the Men’s or Women’s Locker Room (including with a parent) without exception.

14. Outside trainers are not allowed to work in the Club’s athletic facilities.

15. It is recommended that members have Athletic Center personnel demonstrate the proper use of exercise equipment before using it themselves. Otherwise they use the equipment at their own risk.

16. The Athletic Center will be open at such hours as determined by the Board of Directors and these hours will be duly posted.
