Amazing work!

We hit a milestone this year having 25 Ladies ALTA teams for both the Spring and Fall seasons respectively, 18 Ladies USTA Teams in the Winter (21-22) and 20 Ladies USTA Teams in the Summer. The AAC ladies’ program is thriving with close to 400 ladies in our recreational and competitive pathways. The AAC ladies’ program has a great community of members that provides players of all levels an avenue to play. Our community has numerous options: recreational play, multiple classes from beginners to advanced, numerous tennis/social functions as well as the competitive leagues! We have many highlights for this year which includes having a record number of ladies playing on our Pre- ALTA Round Robin, an average of 40 ladies came out to play the days the programs were offered. We continued a great tradition of fun and competitive play at Tennis Ladies Nights this season, averaging 20 players per night. One of the great and competitive tournaments teams get to attend the USTA State Championships in Macon and Brunswick, Georgia. The 4.5 18 & Over Jessica Dreher team and the 3.5 Beth Pombo and Katherine Malone represented the AAC in Macon. While the 3.5 Shannon Collins and Katherine Malone team represented us in Brunswick. Both teams battled and gave it their all, even finishing one of the matches at 3:30am and having to be back on the court at 8:00am. We will keep working hard to reach the sectionals this upcoming year, too. In addition to those teams, we were well represented in team playoffs and city championships. This past Winter USTA season (2021-2022) two USTA City Champions, one USTA City Runner-up and four USTA Division Winners. 3.0 18 &over Thursday Team Jill Aycock and Erica Prante (Captains) DIVISION WINNER
