LADIES’ TENNIS Coach Carmen | CMG@aac1.org DEADLINE COMING UP! The ALTA deadline to register the teams is Thursday, January 19. Spring 2023 Captains should not accept new players for their team unless it has been communicated to Carmen (league coordinator) and to the team captains involved. Etiquette reminder when switching from current team to another team at AAC. • Consult and discuss the move with your coordinator (Carmen Garcia-Jersild). • Inform your current captain and thank them for their hard work. • We ask that you follow these two simple steps when switching teams, out of respect for the captain’s and coordinator’s hard work in creating the team, assuring that everyone has a team to play in and that the teams have enough players season to season. 2024 SPRING ALTA SEASON Important Dates ALTA registration: January 1 Register for Adult (women and men) by January 18 Alta schedules: February 29 2023 FALL ALTA SEASON REVIEW:

BACK TO BASICS DOUBLES CLINIC If you need to brush up on your double's strategy? Come and work on your serve/serve return tactics and doubles positioning. Drill instruction and live ball play will be included. SHOT OF THE DAY CLINIC This class is perfect if you want to work on a certain shot. Each week will feature a different shot to work on. This class includes drill instruction and live ball interac tion. Always get your racket back early as soon as the ball crosses the net. This helps get more depth, power, and gives you more time to prepare where you want to angle or place your return.
