c) When possible, a thirty-minute advance notice will be given before starting or resuming play that has been suspended or delayed. d) Prior to the start of the final round, any suspended round will be continued at a date and time to be determined by the Tournament Chair, President, and Director of Golf. 25. Play Day Rain Policy a) Regular Play Day The Director of Golf and Pro-Shop Staff will make the decision in the case of inclement weather. b) GOTW Play Day If at all possible, the game should be completed on the same day. If the course is closed due to weather AND one has played more than 13 holes, the player should fill in the remaining holes with par plus strokes allowed based on the player’s handicap. If the course is closed due to weather and one has played fewer than 13 holes, the player may select another time that week to play a new match. 26. On Play Days, players may take an 18 inch putt as long as the game being played is not LG/LN or Fewest Putts. Putters should be marked by the bag room staff at 18 inches. If a player does not have a marked putter, they may use another member’s mark to measure. If no one in the group has a marked putter, the player must putt out. 27. A player may enter ringers for Sunday Couples Events if her ball was used to complete every shot on the hole. Some formats do not allow for that (like Texas Scramble). Sunday Couples Events do not give members any credit toward the Player of the Year award. 28. Game Day Balls are awarded to each winner of the Play Day Games when no other prizes are awarded.
