Atlanta Athletic Club 18 Hole Women’s Golf Association RULES (**denotes Important Information) 1. All competition shall be played in accordance with USGA Rules of Golf and local rules of AACWGA. 2. All members must be 18 years of age and a paid member of the Association with an established 18-hole course handicap of 40 or less. 3. **Members will be required to play with a maximum handicap of 36, regardless of the players actual handicap being higher. 4. **Each golfer is responsible for posting her score in the USGA GHIN app for all rounds of golf played, unless it is an official AACWGA 18 Hole Event, whereby the scores will be entered into the USGA GHIN app by the Pro Shop Liaison, except for GOTW and President’s Cup, these scores must be entered into the USGA GHIN app. by the player as soon as the round in completed. 5. Members are responsible for checking in with the starter on the first hole before teeing off. Failure to sign in may result in not being eligible for the competition. 6. If a player has signed up for a Play Day, Event or Tournament and needs to cancel, it is necessary to call the Pro Shop before the first tee time. 7. All ladies must wear proper golfing attire when participating in WGA golf events in accordance with the AAC dress code as stated in the AAC Bylaws, Rules and Regulation Handbook.

8. **If two games are offered on a particular play day, you must declare on the score card the game you are electing to participate in. Failure to declare, will disqualify you from that play day. 9. Slow players who fall behind must let following players through. Penalty for undue delay is loss of hole in match play and 2 strokes in stroke play. 10. **A minimum of 8 players must compete in the Play Day event to count as an official play day. 11. All official AACWGA events qualify for ringer scores (scores using a mulligan are unacceptable). 12. All AACWGA functions are for members and guests over the age of 18 only. 13. **The AACWGA 18 Hole Golfer of The Year award point system can be found on page 22. 14. **To be eligible to compete in the Handicap or Championship tournaments, a member must have played in at least 3 AACWGA 18 Hole events that calendar year. 15. **Players MUST Declare at Sign-Up if they are playing in the Championship or the M.L.McKie Tournament – Cannot compete in both events in the same year. 16. **To compete for Low Gross/Low Net Award on Highlands and/or Riverside: To be eligible for LG/LN awards, members must participate in at least 4 Low Gross/Low Net play days for either or both course’s competition. An Average of the 4 lowest scores from each player for either or both courses will determine winners. A member cannot win both Low Gross and Low Net awards on the same course. Must declare LG/LN on scorecard before turning it in for final posting. If playing in LG/LN cannot count as regular Play Day.

17. **To compete for Most Improved Handicap %: Winners must have been association members at the end of the previous season. To determine most improved golfers, a GHIN report is generated by the Pro Shop comparing the handicap indices of members at the close of the current season to handicap indices at the close of the previous season. Members must have participated in at least 10 AACWGA days for which a score was posted during the AACWGA calendar year. 18. A Hole in One counts in any AAC 18 Hole completed round during the AACWGA 18 Hole golfing season. 19. Guests for tournaments must have an official index verifiable through GHIN or a Golf Professional or play to a “0” handicap or lower if applicable. Tournament guests are limited to amateur status players. 20. Guests are defined as “Non-Members” of the AAC. 21. Caddies may be used in AACWGA sponsored events, but they MUST be employees of the AAC and part of the AAC Caddie Program. AAC By- Laws Book Golf Page 27, Sections 129-131. 22. Phone numbers, addresses and e-mail addresses listed in the Yearbook may not be used for solicitation of AACWGA members. 23. A 72-hour cancellation notice is in effect for meals at AACWGA events. 24. Tournament Rain Policy a) Every effort will be made to complete a tournament in its entirety. In case of weather delays, all participants should plan to play throughout the day. b) The Tournament Chair in consultation with the President, Director of Golf and Pro-Shop Staff shall determine the final decision on play.

c) When possible, a thirty-minute advance notice will be given before starting or resuming play that has been suspended or delayed. d) Prior to the start of the final round, any suspended round will be continued at a date and time to be determined by the Tournament Chair, President, and Director of Golf. 25. Play Day Rain Policy a) Regular Play Day The Director of Golf and Pro-Shop Staff will make the decision in the case of inclement weather. b) GOTW Play Day If at all possible, the game should be completed on the same day. If the course is closed due to weather AND one has played more than 13 holes, the player should fill in the remaining holes with par plus strokes allowed based on the player’s handicap. If the course is closed due to weather and one has played fewer than 13 holes, the player may select another time that week to play a new match. 26. On Play Days, players may take an 18 inch putt as long as the game being played is not LG/LN or Fewest Putts. Putters should be marked by the bag room staff at 18 inches. If a player does not have a marked putter, they may use another member’s mark to measure. If no one in the group has a marked putter, the player must putt out. 27. A player may enter ringers for Sunday Couples Events if her ball was used to complete every shot on the hole. Some formats do not allow for that (like Texas Scramble). Sunday Couples Events do not give members any credit toward the Player of the Year award. 28. Game Day Balls are awarded to each winner of the Play Day Games when no other prizes are awarded.

HANDICAP GUIDELINES Net double bogey will replace equitable stroke control (ESC). Net Double Bogey = Double Bogey + any handicap strokes a player is entitled to receive based on their Course Handicap. There is no limit to the number of holes reduced to your maximum score

REGULAR PLAY DAYS The Pro Liaison will make a decision in case of inclement weather.

TOURNAMENT FORMATS For all AACWGA Events and Tournaments, a maximum handicap of 36 will be used to determine winners. Lauderdale or Ft. Lauderdale Step Aside), as determined by the 2nd VP/Tournament Chairman.

• Teams will consist of A, B, C & D players, using course handicaps to equalize the field. • Pro Shop Gift Certificates paid out to winners of ¼ of the field. • Luncheon to follow play and billed to each member’s account. Handicap Tournament: To be eligible to compete in the Handicap Tournament, a member must have played in at least three (3) AACWGA events for that calendar year. • No Entry Fee. • Annual budget for tournament and prizes. • The winner and 1st Runner Up receive an engraved “take home” trophy. If a gift certificate is also given, the combined is also given, the combined cost of both the trophy and the certificate should not exceed the total amount budgeted for these two places. • Permanent Trophy will be displayed at tournament and engraved with Winners’ name and kept on display at AAC in specified trophy case. • Net scoring. The first day pairings and tee times will be assigned by Handicap Index. No player requests for specific starting times will be granted. • The second day will be a shotgun start. Pairings will be determined by first round scores. • The remaining winners are paid in descending order to ¼ of the field in Pro Shop Gift Certificates. • Luncheon to follow play and billed to each member’s account. Championship Tournament: To be eligible to compete in the Championship Tournament, a member must have played in at least three (3) AACWGA events for that calendar year.

• Players MUST Declare at Sign-Up if they are playing in the Championship or the M.L. McKie Tournament – Cannot compete in both events in the same year. • No Entry Fee. • Engraved “take home” trophies are awarded to the overall Champion and Runner-up. If a certificate is also given, the combined cost of both the trophy and the certificate should not exceed the total amount budgeted for these two places. • Permanent Trophy will be displayed at tournament and engraved with Winners’ name and kept on display at AAC in specified trophy case. • Annual budget for tournament and prizes. • Gross scoring. The field will be flighted by Handicap Index. Each flight should consist of 8 players, if possible, and prizes will be determined by a payout of ¼ of the field. • The first day’s pairings and tee times will be assigned by Handicap Index. No player requests for specific starting times will be granted. • The second day will be a shotgun start. Second day’s pairings within each flight will be determined by first round scores. • Overall Champion and overall Runner-up winners are removed from their flights before other winners are selected. The next two players are moved up, so a Winner prize is given in each flight. • Flight Winners will receive Pro Shop Gift Certificates. M.L. McKie Senior Tournament: To be eligible to compete in the M.L. McKie Tournament, a member must have played in at least three (3) AACWGA events for that calendar year and must be 65 or older.

• Players MUST Declare at Sign-Up if they are playing in the Championship or the M.L. McKie Tournament – Cannot compete in both events in the same year. • This is a net tournament for senior women that will be played concurrently with the • Championship Tournament, a Senior bracket for players ages 65 and older. • A two-day combined net score will determine the winner. • Engraved “take home” trophies are awarded to the Winner and Runner-up. If a certificate is also given, the combined cost of both the trophy and the certificate should not exceed the total amount budgeted for these two places. • Permanent Trophy will be displayed at tournament and engraved with Winners’ name and kept on display at AAC in specified trophy case. • Luncheon to follow play after second day and billed to each member’s account. Team Play: • No Entry Fee. • Annual budget for tournament and prizes. • Format will be 2 or 3 days of Four-ball Match play (as defined under Definitions Match in the USGA Rules of Golf). • For Four-ball Match play, the lowest handicap will be subtracted from the higher handicaps and the difference will be assigned to the higher handicapped players. • If used, Alternate Shot format is the lower handicapped player of the two-person team receives 60% of handicap, and the higher handicapped player receives 40%. The resulting strokes fall on the card, according to the AAC hole handicap. Players will determine who tees

off on odd holes and who tees off on even holes. Each person drives on 9 holes. (Scotch Doubles) • The field is divided into two or four teams. The score is based on the best ball of each twosome. The pair with the lowest net score wins the hole. • Each individual match is worth up to three points. One point is awarded for the winner of the most holes on the front nine, one point is awarded for the winner of the most holes on the back nine, and one point is awarded for the most holes won overall. One-half point is awarded to each team when there is a tie. • The coordinator should review the division of teams before the tournament and make necessary adjustments to ensure the teams are divided equitably according to handicaps. • Likewise, the coordinator should review daily pairings and matches to ensure that no one plays with, or against, the same players any of the three days of the tournament. • Luncheon to follow play of second day and billed to each member’s account. Invitational - Member/Guest: • Entry Fee along with annual budget amount will cover entire cost of tournament, luncheon, and prizes. • 1st VP is responsible for the Tournament. • Format is one of the Best Ball Formats with either two person or four person teams. Low Gross and Low Net prizes will be awarded. 90% of the Players’ USGA Handicap will be applied. • Partnerships – in odd numbered years, partnerships will consist of four person teams (2 members and 2 guests), and in even years, partnerships will consist of two person teams (1 member and 1 guest). • *See Footnotes 1, 2 and 3.

Dutch Treat: • Entry Fee along with annual budget amount will cover entire cost of tournament, luncheon, and prizes. • Dutch Treat Tournament Coordinator along with the 2nd VP are responsible for the Tournament. • Best Ball Format. The number of gross score winners and net score winners is determined by the number of participants. 90 % of the players’ handicap will be applied. • Prizes are paid to ¼ of field. (See Footnote 1) • *(See Footnotes 2 & 3) Member/Member: • $10 Entry Fee. • Mulligans, Miracle Putts can be sold for monies to be added to winners’ awards. • Member/Member Tournament Coordinator along with the 2nd VP are responsible for the Tournament. • Format is Best Ball of the Partners. This will be a team event with a specific format selected by the Tournament Coordinator and approved by the 2nd VP. • Both Gross and Net places are paid up to ¼ of the field. See Footnote 1. • The Member/Member is usually a shotgun start. • Luncheon to follow play and billed to each member’s account. Fall Tournament: • $10 Entry Fee • Mulligans, Miracle Putts can be sold for monies to be added to winners’ awards. • Fall Tournament Coordinator along with the 2nd VP are responsible for the Tournament. • Format will be a shot gun start team event selected by the Tournament Coordinator and approved by the 2nd VP.

• Pro Shop Gift Certificates paid out to winners of ¼ of the field. • Luncheon to follow play and billed to each member’s account. Pro Lady: • $10 entry Fee • Mulligans, Miracle Putts can be sold for monies to be added to winners’ awards. • Pro Lady Tournament Coordinator along with the 2nd VP are responsible for the Tournament. • Format can be determined by Pro Lady Tournament Coordinator with 2nd VP approval. • Pro Shop Gift Certificates paid out to winners of ¼ of the field. • Luncheon to follow play and billed to each member’s account. PRESIDENT’S CUP • No Entry Fee • Annual Budget for Prizes • Trophy and prize money awarded to Champions and Runner Ups. Prize money awarded to Flight Winners. • Field: 32 players made up of 4 Flights of 4 Two- Person Teams, or 40 players made up of 5 Flights of 4 Two-Person Teams. • A specific time period is scheduled for each round of play and must be adhered to. • Players pick their teammate. The same teammates may not play together more than two years in a row, unless the teammates win in their second year, then they are allowed a 3rd year together. If the teammate is unable to play in the allotted time for that given round, a substitute may be used. The substitute may not already be on another team AND must have a handicap within + or - 2 strokes of the player she is replacing.

• Players must post their scores into the USGA GHIN app. immediately following play. • HANDICAP : Strokes are determined off the lowest handicap of the group. The most up to date handicaps will be used for each match. 100% of the player’s USGA current handicap will be used for each round. Strokes will be given by applying the differential off the lowest handicap in the foursome. Players may choose their partner but must adhere to a maximum of a ten (10) stroke handicap index differential. • Flight Determination - The teammates’ indexes will be added together and that total will then be ranked from lowest to highest. The lowest 4 totals will be Flight One, second lowest 4 will be Flight Two, next 4 will be Flight Three and final 4 will be Flight Four. • FORMAT: Season Long, Two Person Match Play. Each two-person team will play a match against the other three teams in their flight. Each match is 18 holes, net better ball, where players record either a “1” for winning the hole, “0“ for losing the hole, or “1/2” for tying the hole. All 18 holes must be played. When all three matches have been played in each flight, the team with the most cumulative points earned over the three matches is deemed the winner of the flight. Flights will result in 1 semi-final flight (ties to be broken by an 18-hole playoff) and 5 flights will result in 2 semi-final flights with all ties advancing to the semi-finals. When more than 4 flights exist, wildcard positions will be filled by the next highest points totals from all flights until all 8 seeds are filled. The flight winners will then be bracketed and will play each other to determine the overall

President’s Cup Tournament winner for the year. The final match will be played and will go out as the last foursome of that playday. • TIME FRAMES : All Matches must be played within the following order and time frame (NO EXCEPTIONS): Each team is responsible for coordinating their match within the time frame given for each round. Any matches that are incomplete at the start of the next round will receive 0 points. When there is both a gross and net division and an equal number of players, prizes should be awarded equally between gross and net – to ¼ of the field. However, if ¼ of the field results in an odd number, the odd place should be awarded to the net division. 2. Definition of Guest: A guest is a non-member of the Atlanta Athletic Club as defined by the AACWGA Board of Directors (passed 2004). 3. All guests for tournaments must have an official Handicap Index verifiable through GHIN or a Golf Professional. Otherwise, they play to a “0” handicap or lower if applicable. PLAYDAY EVENTS

GOTW “Game of the Week” on a designated course will be offered on Tuesday through Sunday on weeks where there is no official Play Day scheduled. GOTW will be posted on our bulletin board, along with a sign-in sheet. You must sign in that day to compete. Two or more AACWGA members must be playing together. Declaration to compete in GOTW must be made before teeing off on the first hole. On the score card, list GOTW, full name of two players per card, their handicaps, indicate players in competition(*), sign and date. Cards are turned into the Pro Shop at the end of the round. Players must post their scores into the USGA GHIN app. immediately following play. BETTER NINE Use the best 9, subtracting ½ of handicap. Best front Subtract handicap from 54 to get points needed. Record both gross score and points earned on each hole as follows: Double Eagle 6 points Par 3 points Eagle 5 points Bogey 2 points Birdie 4 points Double Bogey 1 point IMPROVE YOUR SCORE Round 1: Each golfer plays her regular round of golf using full handicap. At the end of the round, she discards any holes she thinks she can improve in the second round (the following week). Once a score is discarded, there is no turning back. Round 2: Each golfer plays her regular round of golf again using full handicap but records her net score 9, best back 9. CAT FIGHT

on the previously discarded holes to complete the overall score for the event. It should be noted that a golfer could discard all 18 holes in Round 1 if she chooses. Additionally, if a golfer cannot play both days, her total net score for the day she did play will be entered in the event totals. FT. LAUDERDALE (also known as SCRAMBLE) Played in teams of four players. Each player hits a drive, and the best drive is selected. Each of the players places her ball as close to selected shot as possible and hits second shot. This sequence is continued until the last putt is holed out. Each players drive must be used a minimum of 3 times. LOW GROSS-LOW NET Low Gross is score without handicap. Low net is score minus handicap. MATCH PLAY vs. PAR. Player uses full handicap and takes strokes as they fall on the card. Record both gross and net scores and wins (+), losses (-) and halves (0) against par on each hole. MIXED BAG TOURNAMENT Foursome event. Only net score is used. Par 5 use 1 low net ball. Par 4 use 2 low net balls. Par 3 use 3 low net balls. NASSAU Handicap strokes are taken as they fall on the card. Prizes awarded for the best first nine, the best second nine and the best 18 holes net. 3 x 3 Each golfer plays a regular round using full handicap. At the end of the round, the golfer selects her three best net scores from each of the par 3, 4 and 5 holes for a total 9 hole score. 1 x 4 After the foursome has completed four holes, one best net ball must be used from each player. Repeat through 18 holes.

BLIND DRAW COUPLES Blind couples will be drawn before play, not likely the couple you are playing with. Each couple will score one best gross and one best net score, can be the same ball. After play, the pro shop will determine the combined team winners. ODD OR EVEN HOLES Add score on odd holes only (1-3-5, etc.) and subtract ½ of the handicap. Add scores on even holes only (2-4-6, etc.) and subtract ½ of the handicap. PICK YOUR POISON PRIOR to the round each person chooses 9 holes and highlights on their scorecard. They must select 2 par fives, 5 par fours and 2 par threes. Handicaps are taken on the scorecard as they fall. POINT TOURNAMENT Players use full handicaps, taking strokes as they fall on the card. Double Eagle 10 points Par 4 points Eagle 8 points Bogey 2 points Birdie 6 points DoubleBogey 1 point Highest total of points wins. RINGERS Apply handicaps where they fall on the card. For the player’s score, use the BEST nine holes which must include 2 par 5’s, 2 par 3’s and 5 par 4’s from any of the 18 holes. TEXAS SCRAMBLE Foursome event. Handicap strokes are taken as they fall on the card. Each player hits a drive: the best drive is chosen. From that spot, play continues with each player hitting her own ball. Each player’s drive must be used a minimum of four times. Two best net balls on each hole are recorded.

THROW-OUT 3 TOURNAMENT Before returning their score cards, players are allowed to cross out 3 worst holes. Handicap strokes are taken as they fall on the card. Record net score. Winners are players with lowest net scores for the remaining 15 holes. TWO BEST BALL FOURSOME FULL HANDICAP Using full course handicap, record the two best net scores for each hole. BLIND DRAW PLAY DAY Each golfer plays a regular round of golf using full handicap. After the round is completed, the golfer will be told which 9 holes will be used to score the event. PINK BALL - POINTS Each foursome will be given a Pink Ball at the beginning of the round. The foursome will determine the order in which each player will use the ball. Play regular round of golf using Stableford points on net score. Double the points made with the Pink Ball if it is used in the total for the teams score on any given hole. Return the Pink Ball with your scorecard and receive an additional point! T’s & F’s Add scores from only the holes which start with a T or and F (Two, Three, Four, Five, Ten, Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen) FLAG TOURNAMENT At the beginning of the round, each player will be allotted a set number of strokes based on their handicap. Once they have run out of strokes, the player will place the flag on the course where their last shot was taken. The player who makes it the furthest wins.

SUNDAY COUPLES EVENTS 2023 Chairperson: Gail Crecelius The Couples Sunday events are open to all AACWGA 18 Hole members and their partners, and play is in foursomes. Sign up for Sunday Event is through link provided. An email will be sent out several weeks in advance of the Sunday Couples Event date with details for the Sunday Event, along with the link. Each player must have an 18-hole handicap. • The AAC rule of 75 may be used for Sunday Couples Events (Any man whose age and course handicap from the announced tees = 75 or higher can opt to play forward) The Player must call the AAC Pro Shop prior to the Sunday Couples Event to register for play under the AAC rule of 75. Players who opt play under the AAC rule of 75 and play forward from the announced tees will not be eligible for gross prizes. • AACWGA members may enter Ringers for Sunday Couples Events as long as their ball was used to complete every shot of the hole, however, players do not get any credit toward the Player of the Year Award. • An entry fee of $20 per couple is billed to the AACWGA members’ AAC account for each Sunday Couples Event they sign up to play in • All entry fees are used for AAC Pro Shop credits awarded to the Sunday Couples Event winners. • A bottle of wine is awarded to the “Closest-To- The-Pin” winners. • Cart fees are additional expenses billed to individual AAC accounts. • Sign up for each Sunday Event is through an e-mail sign-up link. Sign ups will be on the 4th Thursday prior to the event.

CONSTITUTION Revised January 2023

ARTICLE I – NAME The name of this Association shall be the Atlanta Athletic Club Women’s 18-Hole Golf Association. ARTICLE II – OBJECT The object of this Association shall be the promotion of good fellowship and sportsmanship among its members, interest in golf among the women of the Atlanta Athletic Club and to protect the interests of its members. ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP Section 1. The membership of the Association shall be the golfing women of the Atlanta Athletic Club with a maximum 18-hole handicap of 40 (35.2 index). (1999 members exempt.) Members may be golf members or social members. Additionally, the Board of Directors may name Honorary Members or Members Emeritus. Emeritus Status – A Past AACWGA 18 Hole President who is an active Social Member. Dues will be reduced a portion of the regular Social Membership fee. Section 2. The acceptance of membership in the Association shall bind each member to abide by the conditions of the Constitution By-Laws and Standing Rules of the Association, and to accept and enforce all decisions which the Board of Directors are authorized to make relating to the Association’s affairs. Section 3. If a member holds dual memberships in the 9-Hole and 18-Hole associations, she may only compete in one association’s major tournaments.

ARTICLE IV – GOVERNMENT Section 1. The entire management and control of the affairs, funds, property and policies of this Association shall be vested in the Officers and Directors who constitute the Board of Directors. Section 2. The Board of Directors shall consist of: Chairman of Board (Ex-Officio), President, First Vice-President, Second Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chairmen of Standing Committees. Section 3. The Executive Board shall consist of the Chairman of the Board, President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Section 4. Officers and Directors shall assume office upon election and continue in office for one year. Section 5. At least two (2) months prior to the Closing Brunch, the President shall appoint two (2) members to serve with the Nominating Committee Chairman. This Committee shall prepare a slate to be voted upon at said Closing Brunch. Section 6. Officer or director shall hold the same office for more than two (2) consecutive terms unless voted by the board. Section 7. Nominations for any office may be made from the floor. Section 8. The President shall fill by appointment any vacancy of any elected Committee Chairman. However, in the event of a vacancy of any elected Officer’s position, there shall be a called meeting of the Board of Directors for the purpose of filling such vacancy.

ARTICLE V – DUES AND FEES Section 1. The annual dues of this Association and the entry fees for non-association members for all Tournaments sponsored by this Association shall be determined by the Board of Directors. ARTICLE VI – MEETINGS Section 1 . The Association shall meet twice yearly – these meetings shall be known as an Opening and a Closing Brunch. Section 2. A majority of the members present, and voting shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of any business at the Opening and Closing Brunch. Unless the Executive Board agrees otherwise. Section 3. Special meetings shall be subject to the call of the President, with at least one week’s prior notice. ARTICLE VII – AMENDMENTS Section 1. All amendments to the Constitution must be posted on the Atlanta Athletic Club Ladies’ Locker Room Bulletin Board at least one month prior to voting. Section 2. Amendments to the Constitution may be made at an annual meeting or special meeting of the Association, by a vote of at least two-thirds of all members present. Section 3. The By-Laws of the Association may be changed or modified on the recommendation of the Board of Directors at any called meeting, with at least one week’s prior notice. A simple majority of those members of the Association present and voting shall constitute a quorum.

BY-LAWS ARTICLE 1 – POWERS AND DUTIES OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS Section 1. Two-thirds of the Board of Directors must be present and voting at a meeting to constitute a quorum. Section 2. All Officers and Chairmen of Standing Committees shall be full members of the association and be voting members of the Board of Directors, with the exception of the President and Chairman of the Board. In the event of a tie, the President has the deciding vote. Section 3. CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD: Automatically the retiring President. She shall be Chairman of the Nominating Committee working with two (2) members appointed by the President to prepare a slate of Officers and Standing Committee Chairmen to be voted on at the Closing Brunch. She shall serve as Parliamentarian and be responsible for the retiring President’s gift. She shall also be responsible for sending sympathy and get-well cards. Section 4. PRESIDENT: The President shall have general management and supervision of the current affairs of the Association; shall preside at all meetings of the Association and of the Board of Directors; shall make reports of any matter which, in her judgement, may be of import or benefit to the Association, and shall carry out to the best of her ability the decisions of the Board of Directors; shall be a member (Ex-Officio) of all Committees, except the Nominating Committee, and shall have the power to appoint any special Committee not otherwise provided for in the Constitution. She shall also serve as a member of the AAC Golf Committee.

Section 5. FIRST VICE PRESIDENT: In the absence of the President, the First Vice President shall perform her duties; shall act as a member (Ex Officio) with the President on all committees, with the exception of the Nominating Committee. She shall be responsible for the Association Yearbook – compiling and printing. She shall also serve as Chairman of the Member Guest Tournament. She shall submit a detailed schedule of the yearly golfing events calendar to the Board of Directors for approval. Section 6. SECOND VICE PRESIDENT: The Second Vice President, in the absence of the President and the First Vice President, shall perform their duties. She shall automatically hold the office of Tournament Chairman. She shall post and report all changes in U.S.G.A. or Local Rules and Handicaps. She shall help supervise the duties of the Play Day Chairman and help with end of the year award calculations and award specified year-end prizes. Section 7. SECRETARY: The Secretary shall keep the records of all meetings of the Association and the Board of Directors and be responsible for all papers and correspondence and updating the AACWGA webpage with the most current updates and changes to the Policy and Procedure Manual, Constitution changes, and any By-law changes. Her term may be two years. Section 8. TREASURER: The Treasurer shall receive all monies and keep an accurate account of same. She shall keep a correct roll of members of the Association, together with their standing in the Association concerning the payment of dues, fees, etc. She shall deposit all funds received in the name and to the credit of the Association in a bank of her choice and shall pay out all monies as directed and

approved by the President. She shall be prepared to present at any meeting of the Association or Board of Directors a written report on the financial status of the Association and shall perform such other duties incident to her office as may be required by the Board of Directors. Her term may be two years. Section 9. CHAIRMEN OF STANDING COMMITTEES: There will be seven (8) Standing Committees as follows: Awards, Play Day, Publicity, Communications, House, Sunday Events, Mentor and Pro Shop Liaison. • AWARDS CHAIRMAN: She shall be responsible for providing Play Day Ringer Score Sheets for each member and will calculate end of the year awards and recognition from these sheets. She will be responsible for ordering and maintaining trophies and assuring that trophies are available for designated events and tournaments. She shall also maintain an inventory of all trophies and a record of their specific locations. • PLAY DAY CHAIRMAN: The Play Day Chairman’s duty shall be to assist the Pro Shop liaison with communications to the membership and to maintain a current excel spreadsheet that calculates and lists year to date and year end golf results for all play days, tournaments, and events of the golfing season for all members. She shall also work with the designated Pro Shop liaison to ensure proper recording of all AACWGA 18 hole Tournament Scores, all Play Day scores and all allocated Golfer of the Year Points are posted timely throughout the year utilizing the current “Golf Statistic Tracking Application” that the Pro Shop is utilizing. • PUBLICITY CHAIRMAN: Her duty shall be to compile all Association publicity for the Club Times. She will be a member of the

Tournament Committee and shall maintain the Bulletin Board for the 18-Hole members in the Ladies’ Locker Room. • COMMUNICATION CHAIRMAN: The Communications Chairman shall be responsible for handling any communication designated by the Executive Board and the Play Day Chairman. She shall serve from February through March of the following year. Her term may be two years, which would benefit the Association in terms of continuity. • HOUSE CHAIRMAN: The House Chairman shall be responsible for the Opening Brunch, Opening Play Day, Closing Brunch, Closing Play Day and Christmas Party. • SUNDAY EVENTS CHAIRMAN: She shall be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects for each Sunday Couple event. • MENTOR CHAIRMAN: The Mentor Chairman will be responsible for contacting New Members, and possibly existing member(s), to pair them with an experienced AACWGA 18 Holemember, who will help mentor them as they navigate the golfing year. • PROSHOP LIAISION: Act as Golf Liaison for the AACWGA 18 Hole organization and assist will their assigned responsibilities throughout the golfing season Responsibilities include: Communication to AACWGA 18 Hole Board, Seasonal Planning, Play Days, Events, Tournaments, Communications to All Members, Pro Shop Gift Certificates, Posting of Scores, End Of The Year Calculations and Management of the current Pro Shop approved Golf Statistic/ Communication Application.

ARTICLE II – TOURNAMENTS Section 1. There shall be at least two (2) Tournaments each year. One to be played at stroke play and one to be played at match play, as designated by USGA, with the format subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Section 2. All competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the USGA, with such special local rules as are in force. Section 3. All disputes which may arise during a Tournament shall be settled by the Rules Committee. Section 4. Winners of special trophies shall have their names engraved on said trophies. Expenditures for engraving on special trophies will be assumed by the Association. ARTICLE III – ORDER OF BUSINESS The following order of Business shall be observed at all meetings of the Association: Call to Order; President’s Welcome; Secretary’s Report; Treasurer’s Report; Reports of Standing Committees; Unfinished Business; New Business; Election of Officers (Closing Brunch); Adjournment. ARTICLE IV – PARLIAMENTARY AUTHORITY Robert’s Rules of Order Revised shall constitute the parliamentary authority for the Association.
