k. To compete for Most Improved Handicap %:

i. Winners must have been association members at the end of the previous season. To determine most improved golfers, a GHIN report is generated by the Pro Shop comparing the handicap indices of members at the close of the current season to handicap indices at the close of the previous season. Members must have participated in at least 10 AACWGA days for which a score was posted during the AACWGA calendar year.

l. To compete for Low Gross/Low Net Award on Highlands and/or Riverside:

i. To be eligible for LG/LN awards, members must participate in at least 4 Low Gross/Low Net play days for either or both course’s competition. An Average of the 4 lowest scores from each player for either or both courses will determine winners. A member cannot win both Low Gross and Low Net awards on the same course. Must declare LG/LN on scorecard before turning it in for final posting. If playing in LG/LN cannot count as regular Play Day. m. Game Day Balls are awarded to each winner of the Play Day Games when no other prizes are awarded. n. Guests for tournaments must have an official index verifiable through GHIN or a Golf Professional or play to a “0” handicap or lower if applicable. Tournament guests are limited to amateur status players. o. Guests are defined as “Non-Members” of the AAC. p. Caddies may be used in AACWGA sponsored events, but they MUST be employees of the AAC and part of the AAC Caddie Program. AAC By-Laws Book Golf Page 27, Sections 129-131. F. Manage and Maintain the Pro Shop approved Golf Statistic/Communication Application a. Maintain updated AACWGA 18 Hole member’s names and emails. b. Email to ALL members, Play Day Sign Up Sheet and Game Information on the day and time specified by the AACWGA 18 Hole Board. (Thursdays 10:00 am.) c. Email to ALL members: format sheet, pairings, tee times, at least the day before the golf event by 11:00 am. (Ex. Wednesday Play Day – email to ALL members (not just those playing) by 11:00am on Tuesday) d. Post all allowed scores played during an official AACWGA 18 Hole event in the Golf Statistic Application and to GHIN for each member. e. Email to ALL members the results of the golf event as soon as possible, and no later than 2 days from the event end date. G. Play Days a. Absolute Rule: A MAXIMUM HANDICAP of 36 is all that is allowed, regardless of the actual handicap. Be sure a Max handicap of 36 is all that is allocated on any scorecard where applicable. b. Must have 8 players minimum to play and complete 18 holes to count as an official Play Day. c. Pro Shop Liaison/Director of Golf or Pro Shop Staff member must be on the 1 st Tee prior to the 1 st Tee Time. d. Prepared Score Cards with member’s names and handicaps. e. Format Sheets printed and on 1 st Tee. f. Review Rules with each group. g. Monitor “Chip In Basket” money and sign-up sheet. h. Pro Shop Liaison/Director of Golf or Pro Shop Staff member on hand at the conclusion of play until the last tee time has finished play to collect score cards. i. Players MUST declare the game they are playing on the score card if 2 games are offered, otherwise they cannot be included in either game. j. Calculate winners to Top 25% of the field. k. (1) $7 Ball is awarded to each of the winners in the form of a Pro Shop Gift Certificate (to be given out at the Closing Brunch) l. Post all allowed scores played during an official AACWGA 18 Hole event in the Pro Shop approved Golf Statistic/Communication Application and to GHIN for each member as soon as the play day has concluded. m. Email to ALL members the results of the golf event as soon as possible, and no later than 2 days from the event end date. n. Keep ALL Score Cards for the entire golfing season in folders provided by Play Day Chair (The Play Day Chair will collect these)
