What an exciting weekend on March 17 & 18 with our 8th High School Invitational presented by Piedmont Bank. This event brought together five local public high schools and one out of state program to compete for

the championship. This event has turned out to be the kids’ favorite event due to the play format. The schools competing this year were: Cambridge, Milton, Norcross, West Forsyth, Alpharetta, and Greenwood HS from Kentucky. West Forsyth is our 2023 Champion, defeating Norcross High School in the very last match. Thank you again to Piedmont Bank for their support in making this event such a success. AAC Junior Development Tennis Program Our after-school tennis programs will continue through May. As busy as May gets with reaching the end of the school year. We require and appreciate a 48-hour notice that your children will be attending this month for proper staffing and planning our clinics. Summer Camps The Tennis camp will be a continuation of the after-school program. The kids will be divided up by levels. The mornings will be focused on the development of strokes, learning patterns, and fitness. The afternoon will be 100% match play focusing on executing the patterns they learn in the mornings. We will also be having matches against other country clubs and possibly academies as well. Coaches for the summer at this moment are all college players that were top 5 or 10 in their respective countries which include Argentina, France and Switzerland. The Sports camp will be a mix of Tennis, Soccer, Basketball and Pickleball. This will provide a good base for athletic development by learning to track different balls, hand-eye/ foot-eye coordination and catching and throwing. All of which are part of the junior tennis development program. Camps are offered as half-day, full day or weekly. Pricing varies depending on your participation choice.
