We were out on the course delivering Biscoff cookies and water.” Part of what sends events over the edge of expectation is the collaboration between the team and AAC members. When both parties have the opportunity to bring in their own ideas and dress the part, it brings each vision into a sharper focus for those who attend. “I just really enjoy them being with us, and they always participate in our fun events,” Tholen says about working with the AAC team. “Whether they want to or not,” Ortner adds. “They may be reluctant sometimes because we’ve had them in a lot of costumes!” Throughout the year of 2023 team and club members worked together to offer a wide range of events to celebrate 125 years as a Club.
