First things first... What is a “spiel”? In short, a spiel is a sales pitch. It’s a rehearsed statement and consolidation of information, with the specific purpose of making a sale. In the context of a restaurant, while the “sale” is the expected outcome, your spiel is ultimately used to both introduce the restaurant and concept to the guests, as well as deliver a customized guest experience. By familiarizing the guests with the menu and options, you are positioning yourself as an expert who can guide the guests in making the best and most informed decisions, thus maximizing their enjoyment of the experience.
