14. Drone Policy - Out of safety concerns for members, guests, employees, and Club property, as well as concerns for individual privacy, Atlanta Athletic Club prohibits the operation or use of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the membership and general public. This prohibition includes drones used for any purpose whatsoever, whether filming or videotaping, flying for recreational purpose, or by media. This prohibition on drone operations or use extends to any drones launched or operated from AAC property, as well as drones launched from private property outside of Club boundaries. 15 . Smoking and E-Cigarettes are prohibited inside any buildings at the Club. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the covered back porch at any time. Smoking, as well as the use of electronic smoking devices and smokeless tobacco are not allowed within the pool complex; the complete pool complex, including the pavilion is designated as a non-smoking area. Smoking is allowed on the porch outside the Men’s Grill, on the lawn outside the Interlachen Lounge, and by the uncovered fire pits. 17. No one under the age of 21 is permitted in the Interlachen Lounge or Men’s Grill for any reason, even if accompanied by an adult. This particular rule is subject to advisement of the House Committee. To improve the member experience, management has the authority to suspend certain rules and restrictions for special club events. Any temporary changes to club rules will be communicated to the membership in advance when possible. 18. No alcoholic beverages shall be served to any member or guest who, in the sole discretion of the Club employee, appears intoxicated or under the legal drinking age. Also, if the member or guest appears to be under 30 years of age, he or she will not be served alcoholic beverages without proper identification. Attire for Ladies and Gentlemen • Bermuda style shorts are permitted. Jeans in good taste are permitted. No low, tight, baggy or faded jeans are allowed. • No worn/stringy hems or ripped or torn parts on pants, shorts or skirts are allowed. Short shorts and tennis shorts are not permitted. • All men’s shirts need to be worn tucked into slacks or shorts while in the clubhouse. • Collared shirts or banded collar dress shirts are required for gentlemen. Turtlenecks, jacketed warm up tops and pants are acceptable. • Caps, hats and visors are not permitted for men in the social and dining areas of the Club. Hats or caps worn backward are not permitted in any section of the Club, including parking lots or golf courses. • Hooded outerwear (hoodie) that is of the style sold in the golf shop is permitted. The hoodie must be from a golf- centric manufacturer with an optional embroidered logo no larger than 3” tall and wide. Collegiate and sweatshirt-type hoodies are not permitted in the clubhouse, or on the 19. The Interlachen Lounge will open at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
