ATLANTA ATHLETIC CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS – AMENDED SEPTEMBER 2023

41. Golf cars are limited to two golfers and two bags except for four-baggers.

42. Golf cars must be kept on the paths for all par 3s and are to stay on paths around all tees and greens. Golf cars should be kept at least ten yards away from fairway bunkers. Always follow the appropriate daily path rules and observe return to the path signs. 43. All persons driving a golf car must have a valid driver’s license or learner’s permit. Members and spouses are responsible for their guests and children. It is each driver’s responsibility to be completely familiar with all golf car safety procedures.

44 . Four-baggers are allowed. All golf car rules apply.

45. Caddies can be requested by contacting the golf services desk at least 48 hours in advance. Every effort will be made to fill these requests. Members are responsible for paying caddies directly. See caddie master for base fees.

GUEST PLAY

46. Members may bring guests to start play except before 12:00 noon on Saturdays.

47. A limited number of properly introduced guests may play without an accompanying member only at times and under conditions as approved by the Board of Directors. Special fees will apply for unaccompanied guests and a forecaddie is mandatory. All charges for unaccompanied guests are required to be billed to the sponsoring member’s account. 48. A limited number of golf outings may be scheduled on Mondays. These outings must have the approval of the General Manager. All outings shall be sponsored by a member. All outings must follow the Club’s established Monday Outing Guidelines .

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

49. All participants in AAC tournaments, both members and guests, must have an established USGA stroke index or handicap. Those without an established stroke index or handicap may play in tournaments at scratch or lower where appropriate. Internet based handicaps are not accepted. 50. USGA Course handicaps will be used for tournament play. The maximum allowable course handicap in tournament play is 28 for men and 32 for women; 80% of handicaps will be used for member-guest tournaments and 90% for member-member tournaments as recommended by the USGA. The Club reserves the right to assign a player’s handicap for tournament play.

51. Tournament entry forms must be completely filled out and signed or emailed in order to be accepted. Tournament fees are non-refundable for cancellations beyond the deadline.

HANDICAP INFORMATION

52. Each golfer is responsible for posting all of their acceptable scores for handicap purposes. The following are considered acceptable scores:

A. Scores made in 18-hole rounds or combined scores for two consecutive 9-hole rounds.
