come all, and let us prepare for the Spring Alta Season, which begins on Wednesday, March 13 for the Senior Men. The rest of the Men’s leagues will begin the following Saturday, March 16. Whether you need to knock of the winter rust or fine tune the tennis skills, you have been honing all winter long, unlimited attendance Men’s Nights are here for you. To further ensure you are ready to play on the first week of the Spring Season, be sure to sign up for the Men’s Alta Kick off Round Robin. Enjoy delicious barbecue and brew as you compete with your fellow members in a round robin format. Pickleball The Athletic Club is proud to announce the 8th Season of League Play through JOIN Pickleball Atlanta. We have kicked off the year with 3 teams one Beginner and two intermediate, for the 2024 winter season pickleball league which will take place every Monday, will run in two formats: Basic teams at 6:15 pm and Intermediate teams at 6:15 pm. Matches will comprise 3 lines with 3 games each, where all games are counted and played to 15 points with a win-by-two rule. Furthermore, the teams will compete in co-ed doubles. Open Play on Tuesdays has garnered considerable popularity, with a positive turnout each week. Make time and join us one of these days to enjoy the fun. Junior Tennis The beginning of the warm weather brings us a new event this spring. Friday, March 8th we have our first Junior Davis Cup event. Teams will consist of four players and will be a mix of Orange, Green Dot and Yellow Ball. Participants will earn AAC Bucks for the Tennis Pro Shop. Following this event, we will be having our Easter egg hunt on Friday March 29. The Junior Program will continue to run Monday through Thursday through May 9.

SUMMER CAMP Join us for a summer of fun with Tennis and Sports camp available for kids to choose. Sports camp will involve soccer, tennis, pickleball, and basketball with some pool time to freshen the kids up. Tennis will consist of tennis specific fitness, learning proper footwork, technique work, learning to score and match play. June 3rd – August 2nd AAC Tennis Center Monday –Friday Full Day 9:30 am - 3:00 pm Half Day 9:30 am - 12:00 pm Cost Full Week Half Day - $200 Full Day - $350 Cost Individual Days Full Day - $75 Half Day $40 JUNIOR WINTER SCHEDULE • Red Ball Monday - Wednesday 4-5 pm • Orange Ball Tuesday/Wednesday 4-5 pm • Green and Yellow Ball Monday – Thursday 5-7 pm 6 Week Session Dates: 1. February 19 – March 28 2. April 1 – May 9 3. May 13 – May 30 drop in only ALTA/USTA We have two team this spring. The boy’s 12U team will be back in action hoping to make the playoffs after a challenging fall season. The Girls 15U team will also be back in action trying to improve on their semifinals appearance in the fall. We are working hard on getting girls 10U Orange Ball team. Would like to extend an invitation to Tennis Ladies Night to you on Tuesday, March 5. A fun and relaxed round robin where all levels of tennis are welcome. This event is always held outdoor and we have great music, light appetizers and beverages. It is a fantastic way to get to know other members and to get to play tennis in a social environment.
