MEN's Tennis From Lance Missildine

As we near the conclusion of 2023, I would like to personally thank all the members here at the amazing Atlanta Athletic Club. It is a genuine privilege for me to assist you in reaching your athletic goals on the tennis court. Witnessing all your hard work to strive and compete is inspiring. So, thank you so much for being the reason the AAC is the best club ever! Fall ALTA season will close at the end of October, and hopefully some of our men’s teams will be in the playoffs. So, let’s be ready to cheer them on to victory during the playoffs, all the way to City Finals on November 4. Finally, Christmas is coming, and a great gift idea for the tennis player on your list is tennis lessons! Give the gift of improvement this year, because that is the gift that keeps on giving, and leads to a truly happier new year! Ladies Tennis 2023 AAC Tennis Ladies Program Year Review: By Carmen Garcia Jersild The tennis program continued thriving in 2023 and was another year of record numbers for competitive leagues such as ALTA and USTA. The recreational programs had close to 350 AAC ladies participating in our weekly clinics such as Cardio Tennis, Rookie, Intermediate Ladies and Tennis 101. This year, these clinics introduced 25 new members to the exciting world of tennis. The AAC tennis program is home to 90 Ladies’ teams, and we predict it will continue to grow in the coming years. The work of our AAC tennis crew and the support of the membership continues to be a vital component as we continue to build the best ladies’ tennis programs in Georgia. Classes such as Cardio tennis which welcome all levels of players are a popular option to get the AAC tennis community together. Our Team Cardio seasonal event is always so fun! Our pre-ALTA Round Robins, now offered with a weekday and weekend option, are always popular. Ladies'
