External Waitlist Guidelines If an External Waitlist exists for the requested membership category, the Board of Directors requires candidates to make a non-refundable deposit (the “Lock-In Deposit”) equal to 20% of the prospective member’s applicable aggregate total initiation fee for the requested membership category using the prospective member’s age as of the time of the making of the Lock-In Deposit. By making the Lock-In Deposit, the candidate will not be subject to any future increases in the initiation fee that may be imposed by the Board of Directors after the date the candidate is officially placed on the External Waitlist as provided below. If an External Waitlist is in effect for the requested membership category, the candidate’s name will only be placed on such waitlist upon (i) the receipt by the AAC of the completed sponsorship materials from each of the three membership sponsors, (ii) the execution and delivery by the candidate to the AAC of the Initiation Fee Lock-In Deposit Form set forth below and (iii) payment in full by the candidate of the Lock-In Deposit. Once placed on the External Waitlist, the candidate will be advised on expectations regarding the length of the waitlist and other obligations of the prospective member. The candidate shall not be placed on the External Waitlist until all three actions described above have been satisfied. The Membership Director will notify each prospective member on the waitlist, and their primary sponsor, as soon as space is available to proceed with an AAC membership and the membership process can then begin. Please note the timing of both the External Waitlist and for golfing privileges are only estimates and may change depending upon the pace of membership attrition. Once approved for membership, the Lock-In Deposit will be applied to the first installment(s) of the aggregate initiation fee that is due. Those who wish to have golfing privileges will first be placed in the Heisman classification until a Jones classification providing for full golfing privileges becomes available. In order to be placed on the AAC External Waitlist, you must, among other items, submit your payment of the Lock-In Deposit via check or ACH transfer, payable to the Atlanta Athletic Club, Inc. ALL PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS MUST COUNTERSIGN AND RETURN THE INITIATION FEE LOCK IN FORM TO THE CLUB , AND PAY THE APPLICABLE LOCK-IN DEPOSIT, AS CONDITIONS TO JOINING THE EXTERNAL WAITLIST. PLACEMENT ON THE EXTERNAL WAITLIST DOES NOT CONSITUTE ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR CANDIDACY FOR MEMBERSHIP. I N I T IAT I ON F E E LOCK - I N FORM By executing of this form, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and understand, and that you agree to, (i) the summary of membership information you have been provided including, but not limited to, the Admissions Process and External Waitlist Guidelines (including the payment of the required non-refundable Lock-In Deposit), all as set forth above and that are hereby incorporated herein, (ii) the categories of membership along with the accompanying privileges for that category, golfing privileges waitlist information, monthly dues obligations, all capital dues and capital assessment obligations and (iii) all membership rules, guidelines and policies (including all member disciplinary procedures, including those set forth in Section 8.9 of the AAC By Laws, as amended from time to time) and that you acknowledge that all such dues, assessments, rules, guidelines and policies are subject to change at any time without notice.
