ARTICLE I – NAME The name of this Association shall be the Atlanta Athletic Club Women’s 18-Hole Golf Association. ARTICLE II – OBJECT The object of this Association shall be the promotion of good fellowship and sportsmanship among its members, interest in golf among the women of the Atlanta Athletic Club and to protect the interests of its members. ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP Section 1. The membership of the Association shall be the golfing women of the Atlanta Athletic Club with a maximum 18-hole handicap of 40 (35.2 index). (1999 members exempt.) Members may be golf members or social members. Additionally, the Board of Directors may name Honorary Members or Members Emeritus. Emeritus Status – A Past AACWGA 18 Hole President who is an active Social Member. Dues will be reduced a portion of the regular Social Membership fee. Section 2. The acceptance of membership in the Association shall bind each member to abide by the conditions of the Constitution By-Laws and Standing Rules of the Association, and to accept and enforce all decisions which the Board of Directors are authorized to make relating to the Association’s affairs. Section 3. If a member holds dual memberships in the 9-Hole and 18-Hole associations, she may only compete in one association’s major tournaments.
