SUNDAY COUPLES EVENTS 2023 Chairperson: Gail Crecelius The Couples Sunday events are open to all AACWGA 18 Hole members and their partners, and play is in foursomes. Sign up for Sunday Event is through link provided. An email will be sent out several weeks in advance of the Sunday Couples Event date with details for the Sunday Event, along with the link. Each player must have an 18-hole handicap. • The AAC rule of 75 may be used for Sunday Couples Events (Any man whose age and course handicap from the announced tees = 75 or higher can opt to play forward) The Player must call the AAC Pro Shop prior to the Sunday Couples Event to register for play under the AAC rule of 75. Players who opt play under the AAC rule of 75 and play forward from the announced tees will not be eligible for gross prizes. • AACWGA members may enter Ringers for Sunday Couples Events as long as their ball was used to complete every shot of the hole, however, players do not get any credit toward the Player of the Year Award. • An entry fee of $20 per couple is billed to the AACWGA members’ AAC account for each Sunday Couples Event they sign up to play in • All entry fees are used for AAC Pro Shop credits awarded to the Sunday Couples Event winners. • A bottle of wine is awarded to the “Closest-To- The-Pin” winners. • Cart fees are additional expenses billed to individual AAC accounts. • Sign up for each Sunday Event is through an e-mail sign-up link. Sign ups will be on the 4th Thursday prior to the event.
