SPRING AND SUMMER EVENTS

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Join us for a summer of fun with Tennis and Sports camp available for kids to choose. Sports camp will involve soccer, tennis, pickleball, and basketball with some pool time to freshen the kids up. Tennis will consist of tennis specific fitness, learning proper footwork, technique work, learning to score and match play.

AFTER SCHOOL JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAM The new program I have implemented will bring structure and discipline with a focus on technical and athletic development while having fun. Each day has a different focus while building on the day before. GROUP AGES: Red Ball – 3-6 years old

When: June 3rd – August 2nd Where: AAC Tennis Center Day/Time : Monday –Friday Full Day: 9:30 am-3:00 pm Half Day: 9:30 am-12:00 pm COST

Orange Ball – 6 – 9 years old Green Ball – 8 – 11 years old Yellow Ball 12+

There are always exceptions and a child may be moved up a group if the coaches believe they are ready for it. Requirements to move up in level: Red Ball to Orange Ball • 5 ball rally • Serve into correct box Orange Ball to Green Ball • Must be able to rally 10+ balls • Must be able to change direction of the ball with each stroke • Consistent technique and be able to hit different spins • Must be able to serve with continental grip • Must know scoring for sets and tie breakers Green Ball to Yellow Ball • Must be able to rally 25+ balls • Must be able to use patterns consistently • Technical proficiency for all strokes CLINIC SCHEDULE Red Ball – Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4:00-5:00 pm Orange Ball – Tuesday and Wednesday 4:00-5:00 pm Green Dot Ball – Monday – Thursday 5:00-7:00 pm Yellow Ball – Monday – Thursday 5:00-7:00 pm

Full Week: Half Day $200 | Full Day $350 Individual Days: Full Day $75 | Half Day $40

Non Member Full Week: Half Day $225 | Full Day $375 Non Member Individual: Full Day $100 | Half Day $65

JUNIOR TEAMS AND TOURNAMENT PLAY We currently have 2 Spring Alta Teams for the upcoming season. If you would like your child to participate, please email me. Registration for a new team has closed but we have spots available on our current Boys 12U team as well as Girls 15U. We are close to having a girl’s 10U Orange ball team for the fall. If you have a daughter interested in joining us let me know. We are looking to build a tournament team that can play tournaments together and have a coach on site with them watching and evaluating the matches. Both league play and tournament play gives coaches an idea if the students are progressing in matches under pressure as they develop through the program. Registration for the tournament team will begin March 1st at which time a calendar of tournaments will be developed for parents and students participating in the team.
