Important Events Dates & Reminders FUN FRIDAYS Donuts, Games, and Ribbons All Ages – 9:00-10:00 am MEET SCHEDULE TBD* Season concludes with Championship Meet prior to July 4th SWIM SUIT FITTING #1 MONDAY, MARCH 18 Aquatics Center Lobby 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm SPRING SWIM CLINICS April 8th – May 3rd (MUST be able to swim 2 laps without assistance) Ages 7-10 4:00 - 4:45 pm | Ages 11 & Up 4:45 – 5:30 pm SWIM SUIT FITTING #2 TBD or as needed *AFTERNOON SWIM CLINICS May 28th –June 18th | Mondays & Tuesdays Ages 7-10 4:00-4:45 pm | Ages 11 & Up 4:45-5:30 pm *MUST be able to swim 2 laps without assistance PARENT VOLUNTEERS Parent volunteers are essential to making the season a success. We ask that each family volunteer for a minimum of three meets during the season. If the requirement is not met, there will be a $100 fee for each shift that was not fulfilled. Sign-ups are done through the Barracuda Swimtopia website. If you are unsure of the position that you have signed up for, please speak with a committee member for instructions. If you cannot fulfill your volunteer position, please make an effort to find a replacement and communicate that to the committee member in charge of volunteers. All volunteer positions descriptions are listed on the website. Swim Team 2024 NEW AND EXPERIENCED SWIMMERS WELCOME! AGES 5 - 18 ARE WELCOME! The AAC Barracudas compete in the Atlanta Swim Association with meets at home and away. Come make friends, enjoy great competition and improve your swimming skills!

AAC SwimTopia Site: https://aac.swimtopia.com JANUARY 1- APRIL 15 Swim Only: First Child $215 | Second Child $200 Each Additional Child $170 Swim and Dive: First Child $300 | Second Child $270 APRIL 15 Swim Only: First Child $230 | Second Child $215 Each Additional Child $185 Senior Swim or Dive: (ages 15-18): $50 Junior Barracudas The Junior Barracudas is designed for the “novice” beginner. Typically, swimmers must complete the Learn to Swim Program or have already had previous experience. The coaches concentrate on the basics (Backstroke and Freestyle), kick work, getting acquainted with fellow team members and learning how to be a team player. This program will give each swimmer the opportunity to develop both physically and socially through their experiences. The coaches will continually evaluate swimmers in the program and encourage them to strive to meet the Barracuda swim team qualifications. Junior Barracudas is perfect for the true beginner or the non competitive swimmer ages 4 - 6. DATES AND REGISTRATION JANUARY 1 - MAY 12 $160 Registration Includes Team T-Shirt, Season Gift May 13 – 24 Mondays/Wednesdays 4:00 - 4:30 pm May 28 – June 21 Monday – Thursday 9:45 - 10:15 am JUNIOR BARRACUDA QUALIFICATIONS • Pushing off the wall and floating on back for 10 seconds unassisted • Pushing off the wall and gliding on back for 10 seconds unassisted • Pushing off the wall and gliding with kick on back for 10 seconds unassisted Practice Begins May 13th.
