SWIM & DIVE LESSONS PRIVATE (1:1) & SEMI-PRIVATE (1:2) Cost: $50 per half hour for Private lessons $40 per half hour for Semi-private lessons
SWIM LESSONS OVERVIEW Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) is happy to provide your child with a quality swimming experience with group & private lessons to fit your child’s needs! Children must have comparable skills from another swim program or have completed a swim evaluation with an AAC instructor or coach in order to be enrolled in a higher level class. Please remember that everyone progresses at different speeds and all participants will need to pass a “pre test” on the first day of class or have completed a swim evaluation prior to registration. At that time, the instructor may recommend another class better suited for your child. Swim safe with us this summer! We require a minimum of 3 children in order to hold a group lesson. COMPLIMENTARY SWIMMER ASSESSMENT If you are unsure about which level to place your child in for swim lessons, please contact Jonathan Lee, Aquatics Director at jlee@aac1. org or Head Coach Sally Meier at sem@aac1.org to schedule a complimentary 15-minute swim assessment to get started. We will evaluate your child’s skills and determine their starting swim level.
Our private and semi-private swimming classes provide a more personalized experience for participants. Private lessons are 30 minutes long and pair one swimmer with one instructor. Semi private lessons also last 30 minutes, but two swimmers can join the same lesson, which makes these lessons a wonderful fit for siblings or friends who want to swim together. Private & Semi-Private swim lessons help adults and kids alike increase their skills and comfort in the water. Private and Semi-Private lessons are ideal for students who learn better with individual attention, including anxious first-time swimmers, kids with special needs, adults who have put off learning to swim, and competitive swimmers who would benefit from targeted training on specific skill sets. Private lessons are also a great fit for former runners and other athletes interested in lower-impact exercise options. If you’d like to make your private lesson a semi-private, please coordinate with the individual that you want to share a lesson with (we do not pair individuals for semi-private lessons). PRIVATE LESSONS (2 YRS. – ADULT) Private lessons are available for all skill levels and are a great option for those looking to progress or refine skills quickly. Classes are offered by all swim coaches on an ongoing basis throughout the summer. Members are encouraged to reach out to them directly but feel free to contact the Swim Lesson Coordinator at sem@aac1.org for assistance securing an instructor. All lessons are subject to a 24–hour cancellation policy and all lessons are billed for a 30-minute time frame. SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS (2 YRS. – ADULT) Semi-Private lessons are available for all skill levels and are a great option for siblings or friends to be in the same class. Classes are offered by all swim coaches throughout the summer. Members are encouraged to reach out to them directly but feel free to contact the Swim Lesson Coordinator at sem@aac1.org for assistance securing an instructor. All lessons are subject to a 24 –hour cancellation policy and all lessons are billed for a 30-minute time frame.

(June 4th – 15th) PRE-JUNIOR BARRACUDA SWIM (5-8 YEARS) (1:8 RATIO)
The Pre-Jr. Barracuda Swim Program was created to bridge the gap between our Learn to Swim Program, and the traditional swim team environment. This program promotes a more technique-based approach alongside endurance building. Pre-Jr Barracuda Swim has a max of 8 students, providing for more individual attention than the traditional swim team environment, which can have 30 or more students in a level taught by one coach. AAC believes swimming should be fun, and the Pre Jr Barracuda Swim program provides a space for our students to expand upon their skills, without the stress or commitment of a traditional swim team. We strongly recommend that students bring goggles and swim caps for this class. CLASS REQUIREMENTS: A Solid understanding of two competitive swim strokes (backstroke & freestyle), ability to learn and adapt to instruction independently with minimal hands on teaching. A demonstration of basic endurance is required. SESSION DATES/TIMES: $145 Monday/Wednesday/Friday 11:30 am–12:00 pm (June 3rd– 14th) Monday/Wednesday/Friday 1:00–1:30 pm (June 3rd– 14th) *Tuesday/Thursday 1:00–1:30 pm (June 4th – 20th) *Note: this session runs twice a week for three weeks

GOLF LEAGUES
2024 ATLANTA ATHLETIC CLUB’S FALL FLYING EAGLES GOLF LEAGUE Fall Registration will open around June 1st! What is the AAC Flying Eagles Golf League? • The AAC Flying Eagles Golf League is designed to bring a “Little League” atmosphere to the game of golf. With teams of boys and girls ages 8 - 11, AAC’s Flying Eagles Golf League provides a structured league environment for young golfers to compete and have fun! This is a great way to get, and keep, kids involved in the game! • In AAC’s Flying Eagles Golf League, the focus is to have fun playing golf with your friends. Teams want to win, but the stress often associated with individual medal play tournaments is eliminated by the low-pressure formats and the camaraderie of playing on a team with your friends. Our goal is to foster an enjoyment of the game that will last a lifetime. • Flying Eagles is an inclusive program that encourages all skill levels. We suggest that players have a basic level of competence in at least one discipline; driving, chipping or putting, before joining the league. The matches will take place on the AAC Par 3 Course. The format is a determined based on the skill level of the competitors.
