For more information, please contact Jonathan Lee 770-368-7772 (Office) | 225-910-2607 (Cell) email: jlee@aac1.org CHILD AND BABYSITTING SAFETY (CABS) COURSE Ages 11+ (1:10 ratio) The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program provides pre-teens, teenagers and young adults with everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. From getting started with a business, to working with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, the CABS vlogger-style video makes learning fun. This course must have a minimum of 4 students. Don’t see a class that fits your schedule give us a call to create a class. COST: $45 COURSE LENGTH: 2-2.5 HOURS CERTIFICATION IS VALID FOR 2 YEARS LOCATION: AAC SUMMER HOUSE Course Topics Include • Babysitting as a business • Safety and injury prevention guidelines and best practices • Leadership strategies to build confidence when responding to conflict • Tips on age-appropriate play • How to build rapport and stay engaged with children • Basic caregiving skills such as feeding, burping, diapering, and safe sleep practices • Basic first aid for common incidents ADDITIONAL COURSE INFORMATION For more information or to create a group class, contact Jonathan Lee at jlee@aac1.org or call 770-368-7772
