The Pre-Jr. Barracuda Swim Program was created to bridge the gap between our Learn to Swim Program, and the traditional swim team environment. This program promotes a more technique based approach alongside endurance building. Pre-Jr Barracuda Swim has
a max of 8 students, providing for more individual attention than the traditional swim team environment, which can have 30 or more students in a level taught by one coach. AAC believes swimming should be fun, and the Pre-Jr Barracuda Swim program provides a space for our students to expand upon their skills, without the stress or commitment of a traditional swim team. We strongly recommend that students bring goggles and swim caps for this class. CLASS REQUIREMENTS: A Solid understanding of two competitive swim strokes (backstroke & freestyle), ability to learn and adapt to instruction independently with minimal hands on teaching. A demonstration of basic endurance is required.
