Important Pool Rules and Information DRESS CODE

Swimming attire is not permitted outside the Aquatic Center complex. Pool attire must be appropriate for a family-friendly venue. Thongs, Brazilian and string bikini bathing suits and bottoms, Speedo-type trunks and any other overly-revealing swimwear is not permitted. Aquatic supervisory personnel will be responsible for enforcement of this rule based on their discretion. The member or guest found wearing inappropriate swim attire will be asked to leave. Shoes or foot coverings must be worn outside of the Aquatic Center complex. SWIM DIAPER POLICY Children who require the use of a swim diaper are not allowed in the main pool. All swim diapers must be approved by Aquatic Center staff upon arrival (no disposable swim diapers allowed), and must wear a wristband visible to staff at all times. Accidents that result in a pool closure may result in a fine of up to $2000. FLOATATION DEVICES Only Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices will be allowed in the pool. NO inflatable floating devices will be permitted. Anything that requires air will not be permitted. LIGHTNING POLICY In the event of lightning or thunder, the pool shall be immediately cleared and not reopened until authorized by the Aquatic staff. • Aquatic staff will clear the pool at the first sound of thunder and/or sounding of the siren for 30 minutes. Each occurrence, thereafter, will restart the 30 minutes. • Upon the sight of lightning, the pool deck will be cleared immediately of all staff and members. Members and staff may not return to the pool deck until the siren signals “All Clear.” If thunder is heard prior to or following the “All Clear” signal, the Aquatic staff will observe the 30-minute time period for each thunder that is heard.
