Ever y Wednesday afternoon the Bridge room stays busy as players arrive to par ticipate in Social or Dupl icate Bridge on a rotating basis each week . There is always a big turn-out for a fun group dinner fol lowing the Wednesday play. Marathon bridge, a competitive par tnership game has been played ever y month, beginning last August . The matches wrapped up in Apri l and the winners wi l l be announced shor tly. Huge kudos to Mel issa Dickens for managing the marathon play each month. Is your spouse/signi f icant other wanting to join the fun? Couples bridge is a big hit each month. Couples enjoy a late afternoon of bridge fol lowed by a group dinner. improve. Whi le in town she hosts weekly lessons at 2pm on Tuesday ’s , geared to those that want to excel in their game. The lessons are open to al l LBA members and are free of charge. Lynn has been ver y gracious with her knowledge and learnings. A special evening to toast Lynn was held in Apri l , we are so grateful ! During March
and Apri l the Ladies Bridge Association also had the oppor tunity to take two ful l day classes from a recognized
exper t in the community, Jimmy Eastham. Al l lessons were sold out with a waiting l ist ! Play wi l l continue through the summer months. The Beginners group faithful ly meets ever y Tuesday afternoon to continue
