Service Standards
Accompanied Guest Standards An accompanied guest is any member-sponsored guest round in which the member is present. The following outlines how we are to interact with an accompanied guest at each location with the Club.
Security Gate
Greet the guest by name Direct the guest(s) to the golf parking lot
Example “Good afternoon Mr. Smith, we have been expecting your arrival. Please proceed through the gate and proceed to the bag drop located on the left side of the main clubhouse. Have a wonderful time at the club.” The security professional radios the golf department “Mr. Smith, guest of Mr. Taylor, 3:20 p.m. tee- time has arrived” Bag Drop Golf operations team member will provide a warm welcome, take the bag from the vehicle and direct the guest to the parking area The team member will inform the guest of the host member’s location Example “Good afternoon Mr. Smith, we have you scheduled for the 3:20 p.m. tee time with Mr. Taylor. I will take your golf bag and place it on a cart. You may park your car in this lot. If there are no spots available, we do have additional parking in front of the clubhouse.” The team member will ask the guest if he wishes to enter the clubhouse or proceed directly to the range. If he wishes to enter the clubhouse, the door will be opened for him and he will be shown the locker room. Note: the bag drop is continually restocked with staged golf carts throughout the day, and is open from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Each cart is clean, with a pencil, eight tees, two carefully rolled and placed towels, and an etiquette reminder card. Locker Room Guest will be greeted by a member of the locker room staff Taken to their guest locker, complete with a temporary nameplate designating it as theirs for the day. Example “Mr. Smith, Welcome to the c lub! We have reserved locker number B-70 for you today. If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to ask.”
