Sports Dress Code All golfers must wear proper golf attire when playing golf or using the practice facilities at both golf courses, the Par 3 course, the putting green and all practice areas. (Jeans, cutoffs, tennis shorts, gym shorts, tee-shirts (less than 1¼" collar), tank tops, halter tops and workout wear are examples of improper golfing attire.) • Hoodies – Only golf h oodies are permitted on either golf course, p ar 3 course, driving range/practice areas, or in the Clubhouse • Leggings/Yoga Pants – Leggings are only permitted when worn under pants, shorts, skorts or skirts. • Denim – Denim of any type (including denim of any color) is not permitted on the golf courses, Par 3 course or driving range/practice areas. • Golfers are encouraged to remove their hats or caps when in the sports areas of the Club • Hats or caps worn backward are not permitted in ANY section of the Club, including parking lots or golf courses • Shorts must be at least 16" at the outseam and shirts should be tucked in • Shoes are mandatory and metal spikes are not permitted • With the exception of specialty items, most clothing that is carried in the AAC Golf Shop is considered proper golf attire. While some special conditions apply to junior golfers under the age of 15, all golfers are expected to look neat and presentable.
The starter and professional staff will request that improper attire be replaced before play or practice. Please note that the Board of Directors may amend what is considered proper attire.

Swim Attire • Swim attire is NOT permitted outside the Aquatic Center complex • Swim attire must be in keeping with the family concept of the Club • Aquatic staff will be responsible for enforcement of this rule • Shoes or foot coverings MUST BE WORN outside of the Aquatic Center complex All children aged three (3) years or younger, or those who are not potty-trained, may NOT use the main pool and MUST wear AAC approved swim diapers in the infant and junior pools. Members must have all diapers checked by the front desk staff prior to entering the pool facility. All children with approved diapers will receive a wristband that must be visible on the child at all times. Lifeguards will conduct random checks and all members not in compliance will receive a $25 fine. Fitness Center All members and guests using the Fitness Center are expected to be dressed in proper attire for the sport or activity in which they are engaged in accordance with the following guidelines: • Spandex or similar materials must be mid-thigh or longer in length. • Closed-toe, athletic shoes must be worn at all times, unless activity specific (i.e., yoga, Pilates). • Hats are permitted, but not allowed to be worn backwards. • Full-length shirts are required at all times. Mid-drifts must be covered. Men many not wear sleeveless tank tops that are designed to be worn as undershirts. Any sleeveless shirts that are cut excessively low to expose the torso are not allowed. • Any other clothing deemed inappropriate by fitness center staff will not be allowed.

Tennis Attire Proper tennis attire and tennis shoes (no running or basketball shoes) are required.
Dining Area Dress Codes Dress codes apply to all men, women and children over the age of 10. Please check with your hosts before coming out to the Club. Main Clubhouse, Interlachen Lounge, The Royal Troon Grill and Merion

Merion Acceptable attire is business/country club casual, which includes: collared shirts, banded collared dress shirts, or turtleneck shirts with dress slacks. Corresponding appropriate attire for ladies during these dining times is expected. Jackets are optional. Athletic attire is not permitted at any time inMerion. Dependents thirteen (13) and older are permitted but must adhere to the Merion dress code, order from the Merion menu and be seated at the same table as their parents or the supervisory adult. Children under thirteen (13) are not permitted. The exception for this rule is when the Merion is used for special club events seating (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, etc.) Royal Troon Grill, Interlachen Lounge, Private Rooms • Hoodies – Only golf hoodies are permitted on either golf course, par 3 course, driving range/practice areas, or in the Clubhouse • Leggings/Yoga Pants – Leggings are only permitted when worn under pants, shorts, skorts or skirts. • Denim – Denim of any type (including denim of any color) is not permitted on the golf courses, Par 3 course or driving range/practice areas.
Gentlemen Permitted:
DRESS CODE | Atlanta Athletic Club • Bermuda style shorts • All boy’s and men’s shirts need to be worn tucked into slacks or shorts. • Collared shirts or banded collar dress shirts are required for gentlemen; turtlenecks, jacketed warm up tops and pants are acceptable Not Permitted: • Flip-flops and other open toe sandals (in any Clubhouse dining area) • Worn/stringy hems or ripped/torn parts on pants/shorts • Short shorts and tennis shorts • Tee shirts, gym clothes, and sweatshirts • Caps, hats and visors (in social and dining areas of the Club) • Hats or caps worn backward (in any section of the Club, including parking lots and/or golf courses Ladies Permitted: • Leather or cloth open toe sandals • Bermuda style shorts • Appropriate blouses are required for ladies; turtlenecks, jacketed warm up tops and pants are acceptable • Caps, hats and visors may be worn inside the Clubhouse (Note: All tennis outfits require a jacketed warm up or cover-up, and all midsections must be covered)
Not Permitted: • Rubber flip-flops designed for the beach or pool • Worn/stringy hems or ripped/torn parts on pants, shorts/skirts • Short shorts and tennis shorts • Tee shirts, gym clothes and sweatshirts

Please remember to inform your guests and children of the dress code before coming to the Club. For Adolescents and Children While the guidelines set forth for adults apply to children and adolescents in both dining areas, the Club will allow children under age 12 to dress casually, but in good taste, when dining in the Merion Dining Room or attending a formal Club function. Children age 12 and older must comply with the adult dress codes. In all areas, for all ages and for both genders, excessively tight, short or baggy clothing is not considered appropriate attire. Please remember to inform your guests and children of the dress code before coming to the Club.
Clubhouse Events Attire Reminder: Special Event Attire:
Acceptable attire for gentlemen includes dress slacks and collared shirts. Jackets are encouraged. All shirts must be worn tucked into pants. Comparable attire is requested for ladies. Blue jeans, athletic attire and open toed sandals for men are examples of inappropriate attire. Country Club Attire: Acceptable dress for gentlemen includes blue jeans in good taste, tailored slacks or shorts, and golf attire. Comparable attire is requested for ladies. All shirts must have a collar and be worn tucked in. Athletic and tennis attire for both men and women and open toed sandals for men
