MEN'S ALTA As we move into May, our men’s doubles ALTA teams will have been busy competing for playoff positions all spring long. Let us plan on rooting them to victory through the playoffs that begin on May 1 for the AAC senior men’s team, and May 4 for the rest of our AAC men’s teams. Hopefully, this month we will cheer them to victory all the way through the City Finals! Gentlemen, following a hard fought ALTA season, plan on joining the Mixed Stix event on Saturday, June 22. Please go ahead and save that date now! Enjoy a tennis round robin in the morning, followed by lunch, and then a round of golf in the afternoon. Bring all your skills to bear on the court and the course on the same day.
ALTA Ladies Kickoff Recap From Carmen We had our first annual ALTA ladies kickoff event with 51 ladies that came to play tennis with us on March 7. It was a gorgeous day, a little bit of rain came in early in the morning, but Brian and Kenny were on it by the time I got in and had all the clay courts ready to go. Thank you, Team! The ladies enjoyed two and a half hours of tennis, a nice AAC hat/visor (best gift ever!), a fun trunk show by Tzu Tzu brand and a delicious lunch by the catering department at the 1898 house. A special thanks to Klaudia, also to Bethany Powell and Caitlyn Sentenac for helping with the decorations for the event and last but not least thank you to all AAC coaches. We got a lot of positive feedback and we look forward to making this ladies event a yearly event to kick off the Spring ALTA season. GO AAC!
