Junior Tennis

USTA Team Tennis For the winter season of Junior USTA Team Tennis, the AAC had 3 teams compete, captained by Coach Dominic Arbie. The teams consisted of 8 & Under, 10 & Under, and 14 & Under. All the teams played a spectacular season.

Summer Camps The Tennis Center will be offering multiple camps this summer that will suit everyone. We will be hosting both tennis camps and sports camps. Our tennis camps will focus on building tennis technique and endurance in a fun learning, environment. Tennis Camp will be run by the certified tennis staff. The days will start with static and dynamic warm up geared to tennis that will get the kids engaged. From there, camps will move into tennis dead ball drills, where we will focus on learning the correct technique. Once we have worked on our technique we will move into live ball drills, taking what we have learned and implementing into live hitting scenarios. Towards the end of the day, we will take everything we have learned during the day and put it all into work, ending with match play. All match play will be tracked, and players will play in tournament style formats, where at the end of the week we will have a summer camp final, where first will receive a prize and awards will be handed out to the players. Our sports camp was a big hit last summer! Register now! Our sports camp will be led by the AAC Certified tennis staff and their counselors. The day will include tennis, basketball, soccer, and pickleball. Kids will learn the fundamentals ensuring a well-rounded athlete, prepared to play any sport that comes their way. THE 8U TEAM came in first place for their division, making it into the first round of the playoffs. During the season, team member, John Ballon had an undefeated season.

THE 10U TEAM came in at number 5 in the division, playing e exceptional tennis.

THE 14U TEAM came in at number 1 in their division, having not lost a singular match the entire regular season. They carried their 8 week win streak all the way to the semi-finals, losing 2-3, in a very close match.
