A Note from Mychelle Travis, 2024 President I’m honored and delighted to be serving as the AACWGA 18-Hole President during our association’s Platinum Jubilee, 70th Anniversary. Our AAC Ladies Golf Association was formed by Gladys Denson, who was our association’s First President - and whom we have named our 18 Hole Handicap Tournament after. Fun Fact* Gladys was named AAC’s Women Golfer of the Year an astounding 16 times; her father was AAC’s very own George Sargent. Our season officially starts in March and runs through the beginning of November, and encompasses Wednesday Play Days, Tournaments, Luncheons, Member/Guests, Sunday Couples and other social events. In Memoriam It’s with a sad heart that we remember our long-time member and friend, Karen Henry (1943-2023), who passed away a few weeks go. Holiday Party In December, the ladies exchanged their golf clothes for cocktail attire and danced the night away at the Holiday Party!
