Event & Dining Guidelines For all Club Social Events, reservations can be made online or by contacting the Clubhouse Concierge at 770-448-2166. All confirmed reservations are subject to the Club’s 72-hour cancellation policy. Event Attire COUNTRY CLUB ATTIRE Acceptable dress for gentlemen includes blue jeans in good taste, tailored slacks or shorts, and golf attire. Comparable attire is requested for ladies. All shirts must have a collar. Athletic and tennis attire for both men and women and open toed sandals for men are examples of inappropriate attire. SPECIAL EVENT ATTIRE Acceptable attire for gentlemen includes dress slacks and collared shirts. Jackets are encouraged. All shirts must be worn tucked into pants. Comparable attire is requested for ladies. Blue jeans, athletic attire and open toed sandals for men are examples of inappropriate attire. Restaurant Reminders MERION • Acceptable attire is business/country club casual, which includes: collared shirts, banded collared dress shirts, or turtleneck shirts with dress slacks. Corresponding appropriate attire for ladies during these dining times is expected. Jackets are optional. Athletic attire is not permitted at any time in Merion. • Dependents thirteen (13) and older are permitted but must adhere to the Merion dress code and be seated at the same table as their parents or the supervisory adult. Children under thirteen (13) are not permitted. The exception for this rule is when the Merion is used for special club events seating (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, etc.) ROYAL TROON GRILL, INTERLACHEN LOUNGE, PRIVATE ROOMS • Hoodies Only golf hoodies are permitted on either golf course, par 3 course, driving range/practice areas, or in the Clubhouse (except in the Merion) • Leggings/Yoga Pants Leggings are only permitted when worn under pants, shorts, skorts or skirts.
Around the Clubhouse In all areas, for all ages and for both genders, excessively tight, short or baggy clothing is not considered appropriate attire. Please remember to inform your guests and children of the dress code before coming to the Club. Inappropriate Attire • Flip-flops and other open toe sandals (in any Clubhouse dining area) • Worn/stringy hems or ripped/torn parts on pants/ shorts • Caps, hats and visors (in social and dining areas of the Club) • Hats or caps worn backward (in any section of the Club, including parking lots and/or golf courses) • Short shorts and tennis shorts • Tee shirts, gym clothes, and sweatshirts FOR GENTLEMEN Collared shirts or banded collar dress shirts are required for gentlemen; turtlenecks, jacketed warm up tops and pants are acceptable. FOR LADIES Appropriate blouses are required for ladies; turtlenecks, jacketed warm up tops and pants are acceptable. Leather or cloth open toe sandals are permitted. FOR ADOLESCENTS AND CHILDREN While the guidelines set forth for adults apply to children and adolescents in both dining areas, the Club will allow children under age 12 to dress casually, but in good taste, when dining in the Merion Dining Room or attending a formal Club function. Children age 12 and older must comply with the adult dress codes.
