Present: Chairman Laurie Ann Garrett, Vice-Chairman Andy Dunn, Regan Couch, Linda Cantrell, Zach Wommack, Richard Jakubecy, Kevin Price Matt Sitler, Michael Glover, Leigh Jackson, Jim Stewart, Michael Drayer, Barrett Binion, Trey Carnes, Chris Rayburn Audra Lucas, Oakley Sutherland, Kyle Hillhouse, Eric DaRin, David Sheppard Call to Order/Approval of Minutes Laurie Ann Garrett called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. On a motion Zach Wommack second by Andy Dunn, the minutes from the March 1, 2023 meeting were approved. Club Manager Report – Audra Lucas Audra went over the mission statement and the main House Committee goals. The committee meetings objective is to make improvements on the clubhouse experience. Individual issues should be sent to Kyle and Audra so they can immediately correct the issue. Operations Update – The Friday buffet will no longer be offered. Weather permitting F & B will utilize the green egg outside for specials on the lawn. General Manager Report – David Sheppard AAC worked with Goodwin & Associates in securing candidates for our CFO and CHRO. There were many great candidates. We have narrowed down the search to Matt Simmons as our next CFO. He will start on June 5 th and the announcement of his arrival will be published in a few weeks. Absent: Staff: Clubhouse Operations: The Easter Buffet, Wine Dinner, and Seafood Spectacular were all well attended. Unfortunately, the Easter Egg Hunt was rained out, our team members did a fabulous job moving the event indoors. The East Lake Summer Soiree had 174 attendees for the event. Audra, Kyle and Chef DaRin are working on ways to take the pressure off the Troon kitchen on busy nights. With the increasing seating capacity in the Troon Grill, along with the Men’s Grill, and the lounge continuing to be very busy, it is more than the Troon kitchen can handle. Chef DaRin is working on utilizing the Kamodo Joe and Bar area to feature specials on Thursday and Friday nights. The first night this will be offered is Friday, May 12 th . The other initiative is revamping the Troon Grill menu to ensure popular dinner entrees are not coming off the same station. This new menu will be introduced on Tuesday, May 23 rd .
