Description and Justification: is is for replacment of all our greens covers are over 10 yrs old and have been repaired multiple times. Originally these were in the capital plan o be phased in. At this point the material has been broken down by the uv rays and weather to a point where it will not hold a stiching to make reprars. n fact the winter storm this past December put major rips in them that we had to use other covers over top to prevetn expopsure. the material cost we are factoring in a contingencey to cover having to use a sewing machine (industrial strength and size) to make 'rs and modifications to the Tif-Grand covers as we can get a better per day price with the contractor we choose alreasy having them 'lized and out here for the main sets of covers. In addition to that we have a contingencey for staples of $4,100. r recomendation is to go with Exton as the material is heavier wieght, so one it will last longer and two it gives more protection on those xtreme cold days.
