18 Hole Yearbook - 2023

• Players MUST Declare at Sign-Up if they are playing in the Championship or the M.L. McKie Tournament – Cannot compete in both events in the same year. • No Entry Fee. • Engraved “take home” trophies are awarded to the overall Champion and Runner-up. If a certificate is also given, the combined cost of both the trophy and the certificate should not exceed the total amount budgeted for these two places. • Permanent Trophy will be displayed at tournament and engraved with Winners’ name and kept on display at AAC in specified trophy case. • Annual budget for tournament and prizes. • Gross scoring. The field will be flighted by Handicap Index. Each flight should consist of 8 players, if possible, and prizes will be determined by a payout of ¼ of the field. • The first day’s pairings and tee times will be assigned by Handicap Index. No player requests for specific starting times will be granted. • The second day will be a shotgun start. Second day’s pairings within each flight will be determined by first round scores. • Overall Champion and overall Runner-up winners are removed from their flights before other winners are selected. The next two players are moved up, so a Winner prize is given in each flight. • Flight Winners will receive Pro Shop Gift Certificates. M.L. McKie Senior Tournament: To be eligible to compete in the M.L. McKie Tournament, a member must have played in at least three (3) AACWGA events for that calendar year and must be 65 or older.
