SECOND VICE PRESIDENT ATTACHMENT E BLIND DRAW PROCEDURE
When it becomes necessary to use a Blind Draw in a Pairing Competition, the following procedure should be used: Scramble and Shambles: With 3 players: Void filled within the group. Rotating players using the best of the 2 balls played every 3 holes in the same sequence of rotating order through 18 holes. Each player will have played 2 balls for 6 holes of the 18 holes played. With 2 Players: Void Filled within the group: Rotating players using the best of the 2 balls played every 2 holes in the same sequence of rotating order through 18 holes. Each player will have played 2 balls for 9 holes of the 18 holes played. 2 Net BB and other formats: Example: Player A is missing. (Use for A, B, C or D) 1. Pro Shop Liaison will number all the “A” players participating in the event who have not begun play. 2. Have a non-competing person pick a number within the number range of these participants. 3. The score of the player drawn will count for both her original foursome and for the foursome needing an “A” player. 4. Notify the person drawn that her score will be used for a “blind draw” so that she will putt out on all holes. 5. When cards are turned in for scoring, the “blind draw” score will be added to the score card of the team missing a player and the scores will be tallied. This procedure should be repeated for as many “blind draws” as needed. There should be a different player used for each “blind draw.
